Ladderback Woodpecker
If you get up early in the morning, just after sunrise, take a walk around the park. In the spring of 2001, there has been a pair of Ladderback Woodpeckers taping on almost everything including the hollow stalks of Century Plant seed pods tied to the office fence. Their taping can really be heard easily, particularly on those hollow stalks!
