EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE
The Eurasian Collared Dove is not listed in the Birds of the Trans-Pecos by Jim Peterson and Barry Zimmer (1997); however, according to the Third Edition of National Geographic's Field Guide to the Birds of North America (1999) the Eurasian Collared Dove was introduced to the Bahamas and spread to Florida. It has since spread outside that range and appears to have been reported from Texas and the eastern part of New Mexico.
